COACH CHEGE: THE MAN WHO BROUGHT BEAUTIFUL FOOTBALL BACK TO EMBU

When Coach Chege first joined 3K FC, the club was deep in the relegation zone, halfway into the season. But even in that chaotic moment, fans could already glimpse something different—his tactical brilliance, his fearless football.

With quick adaptability and smart mid-season signings, Coach Chege didn’t just survive the storm—he won the league. From position 14 to position 1 in one half-season. A turnaround so remarkable, even the likes of Ten Hag, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Amorim haven’t managed with Manchester United from 13th place. Chege did it in Embu. With style.

A PROJECT BUILT ON YOUTH

In his second season, Chege made a bold decision—go young. Really young. He handpicked raw talent from the County League, Division Two, and Division One. The average age of his squad? Under 23.

Pundits and bloggers predicted disaster. Relegation. Naivety. But Chege had a vision—and he stuck to it.

A STYLE THAT FILLS STADIUMS

From the first whistle this season, fans saw what he was building. They kept coming. Game after game, home and away, just to see “Chege Ball” in action. Passionate, pressing, tactical, entertaining.

In one of the toughest leagues in the country, he’s delivered 44 points so far, with two games still to play—despite all the challenges that come with building a young squad from scratch.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT

History tells us one thing about 3K FC—we always get promoted in our second season. Not through playoffs. Direct promotion. And with this squad? With a few reinforcements next season?

You have to ask yourself:
What can this squad achieve if they stay together?
Because under Coach Chege, anything is possible.

The Chege Era is here. And it’s just getting started.
