After an exciting debut season in the NSL, one thing is clear—our fans showed up in full force. But as we grow, so must the experience. That’s why we sat down with our Club Honorary Treasurer, Mr. Anthony “Tony” Mwaniki, to talk about what’s coming next season to make matchdays safer, smoother, and more entertaining.
Tony, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Finance Option), shared some well-structured, practical improvements aimed at making our stadium experience feel like Europe right here at home.
1. Tackling Cases of Theft with Better Security
“Last season, we had a few unfortunate theft incidents during two of our games,” Tony says.
“We acted immediately by reinforcing security. Going forward, we’ve partnered with county security stakeholders and will be installing CCTV cameras around the stadium.”
Your safety is our top priority—and next season, you’ll feel it.
2. Smoother Gate Entry with Multiple Access Points
“One big challenge was managing large crowds at the main gate,” he recalls.
“This coming season, we’re opening 4 to 5 gates. The main gate will be exclusive for vehicles, while fans will use side gates for faster, safer access.”
Additionally, our chairman is coordinating training for stewards and select police officers on friendly crowd control. Expect a more welcoming vibe on arrival.
3. Upgrading the Online Ticketing System
“Our online system struggled during big games—serving one client could take 10–15 seconds,” Tony admits.
“We’ve listened. Our IT team is now working on an upgrade that will reduce processing time to just milliseconds.”
Next season, your e-ticket will scan faster than ever, and queuing will be a thing of the past.
4. VIP Will Actually Mean VIP
“Every VIP ticket holder will now have their seat preserved—no more first come, first served,” says Tony.
VIP fans, your comfort is guaranteed. You’ll enjoy games from your own designated spot.
Beyond the Game: A Full Matchday Experience
We’re taking entertainment seriously. Tony revealed plans to work with the Department of Creative Arts to bring in live performances before kickoff.
“We want fans to arrive early, enjoy some music or spoken word performances, and get into the mood before the game,” he explains.
And for post-match relaxation?
“We’re soon installing a big-screen TV in the stadium so fans can watch EPL matches right after our game ends.”
Talk about a complete weekend plan!
Final Word from Tony:
“Our fans are the heart of this club. These improvements are just the beginning—we want every matchday to feel like a celebration. We’re growing together.”
